Jayla recognizes, lives and works across Treaty 7 and Treaty 6 Traditional Territories of the Niisitapi (Blackfoot), (including the Siksika, the Piikani, and the Kainai Peoples), the Tsuut’ina, Stoney Nakoda, Cree, Saulteaux and Métis peoples.

Jayla is an ally to LGTBQ2S+ individuals and communities and an advocate for destigmatizing mental health for all. Growth involves prevention and supporting opportunities that build connection in order to combat the pain, shame, and silence so many of us have felt or continue to feel.
